Braided polyester core in a braided polyester cover, heat-set and pre-stretched. Holds its shape in a clutch, on a drum and in a self-tailer.
When to specify this
The default line. Pick it when UV, abrasion and cost per working hour beat absolute strength. If weight governs, step up to Apex-12.

Weights are nominal and vary ±5% with finish and coating. Elongation measured on new rope after bedding-in; expect higher values on the first cycle. Splice efficiency assumes a correctly made splice with the specified bury length.
Measured to 30% of MBS. Beyond that the curve is extrapolated from the fibre, and drawn dashed to say so.
